This book became the 1981 film THE PURSUIT OF D.B. COOPER, directed by Roger Spottiswoode (who replaced Buzz Kulik, who replaced John Frankenheimer before filming began) and starring Treat Williams, Robert Duvall, Kathryn Harrold, and R.G. Armstrong. Dell published the paperback movie tie-in as The Pursuit of D.B. Cooper in 1981.
